Precautions for aluminum alloy boat spraying construction

Climate conditions for aluminum alloy boat coatings

The main factors to pay attention to when painting aluminum alloy boats are the surface condition of the aluminum alloy and the atmospheric environment during painting. The usual coating temperature should be between 5 ℃~32 ℃, and the relative humidity should be below 85%. When the surface is affected by rain, fog, or ice and snow, painting is not allowed. For special coating varieties, coating should be carried out according to the supplier's requirements or guidance.

Aluminum alloy boat spraying construction should pay attention to the following points:

1. Before starting the paint application, the construction worker should inspect the spray gun and adjust it to produce the desired fan surface;

2. Hold a spray gun in hand, ensuring that the spray beam is always perpendicular to the surface and maintains a uniform distance of 25-30cm from the coated surface, to prevent hand and brain movements from becoming curved;

3. The trigger should be pulled before the edge of the surface to be coated aligns with the nozzle. The trigger should be fully pressed, and the spray gun should move at a uniform speed until it reaches the other side of the object, then the trigger should be released to shut off the fluid. However, when the spray gun continues to move a certain distance until it returns to the return path and reaches the side of the object to be sprayed, the trigger should be completely pressed again, and the spray gun should continue to move past the object.

4. When spraying, start the trigger while moving the gun, and also turn off the trigger when moving: each spray path should be 50% heavier than the previous spray path, and the paint film should be evenly covered. At the spraying corner, the spray gun should be aligned with the centerline of the corner to ensure that both sides can obtain a uniform film thickness. After the epoxy primer is completely cured (usually more than 24 hours), rough grinding (pneumatic or electric polishing machine can be used). Generally, 80 # -120 # sand discs or belts are used for polishing, and all primer surfaces are required to be polished in place.
